The Dark Half of the Year Sabbat Oil Discovery Collection brings together four of our seasonal altar oils, following the Wheel from the first harvest at Lammas through autumn, Samhain and the darkness of winter to the returning light of Yule.

Together, they follow a period of harvest, gratitude, release, remembrance, rest and renewal.
Each oil has been created around the character and traditional correspondences of its Sabbat, giving you a simple ritual tool to return to as the seasons change.
Four Sabbats, one turning season
Lammas marks the first harvest, with themes of abundance, gratitude, work and recognising what our efforts have brought into being.
Mabon brings the balance of the Autumn Equinox, a time for gratitude, gathering in, reflection and preparing for the darker months ahead.
Samhain takes us deeper into the dark half of the year, traditionally associated with ancestors, remembrance, endings, release and the turning of one cycle into another.
Yule arrives at the Winter Solstice, the longest night and the beginning of the sun’s return, bringing themes of rest, hope, renewal and returning light.
Together, the four oils create a seasonal collection that follows the Wheel through harvest and descent into darkness before beginning its journey back towards the light.
The same oils, in a simpler format
These aren’t diluted samples or different formulations.
Each 7ml vial contains the same altar oil blend used in our full-size 30ml Sabbat bottles.
The difference is in the presentation.
Discovery oils come in simple clear glass vials with a stopper and screw-on lid, without the charms, jute or decorative finishing included with our full-size bottles.
That keeps the collection affordable while still giving you a practical amount of each seasonal oil to work with.
How to use your Sabbat Discovery Oils
Use a few drops to dress Sabbat candles, anoint petition papers, add to spell jars or charm bags, or incorporate them into seasonal altar work, rituals and intention setting.
You might use each oil specifically around its Sabbat or continue working with it throughout the surrounding season when its themes feel relevant to your practice.
Your Sabbat celebrations don’t need to be elaborate. A candle, a seasonal meal, a walk outside or a few quiet moments acknowledging where you are on the Wheel can be enough.
Packaging and presentation
Your Discovery Collection contains four 7ml clear glass vials: Lammas, Mabon, Samhain and Yule, each fitted with a stopper and screw-on lid to help keep the contents securely sealed.
Discovery vials do not include charms or the decorative finishing found on our 30ml Sabbat Altar Oils.
They’re packaged together as a simple, practical seasonal collection rooted in the Lancs Green Witch approach to magic: useful, accessible and made to be worked with.
