This medium-sized black cast iron cauldron makes a wonderfully practical addition to your altar, sacred space or witchcraft supplies.
Its traditional rounded shape, removable lid, curved carrying handle and three sturdy legs give it the familiar appearance of a classic witch’s cauldron while providing a stable vessel for burning charcoal discs, loose incense and aromatic resins.
Compact but reassuringly weighty, it’s suitable for regular ritual use as well as altar decoration.
Using your cauldron
Before burning charcoal, place the cauldron on a stable, heat-resistant surface and add a generous layer of silver sand to the bottom. The sand helps insulate the base and supports the hot charcoal disc.
Once your charcoal is fully lit and has begun to turn grey, carefully add a small amount of loose incense or resin. Add more gradually as required rather than overfilling the burner.
The removable lid can be placed beside the cauldron while incense is burning. Allow the cauldron, charcoal and ash to cool completely before handling, covering or disposing of the contents.
